ABOUT: The Pudding magazine, a publisher of data-based visual essays, has commissioned an interactive web-based infographic narrative that shows how millionaire spending has changed over time to be published as a microsite on their platform. After pitching several ideas, my partner (Julia Saimo) and I, embarked on a 10 week project exploring "The Cost of Love". This was our final story proposal.

This is an exploration into the economics of dating, marriage, and divorce. Does money play into the game of love? Can money buy love? How does the love life of a millionaire compare? The statistics to these questions may be surprising, comical at times, and may even seem like age old wisdom.
